Pointless Development Facts
• AYA is developed for mIRC.
• AYA was initially made only to make announcements and maintain waitlists. Development expanded though
• The original sketch of Aya was drawn by America_Senpai. The first revision was drawn by IzzyArt54 as a commission in a small anime convention. Ironically, this was the only commission she had during that day. The second revision was made by liobby. Final design is made by ahpple, which is also the one that finalized Chair’s design.
• AYAimouto is actually the main protagonist, A.Y.A., from Fate of Two Awesomes. Their personalities are very similar but Aya’s art in the game is Nitori Kawashiro from the Touhou series. This is because Chair has no artists to help her. Aya’s current design is still based off Nitori.
• Her first release on Chair’s chat had problems. The most notable problem of this time was her john detector malufunctioning. Even if the players are just discussing lag, she will spam “No johns :c”. It was annoying to a point that Chair took Aya away from the chat and disabled the john detector until a month later with revisions. This phrase somehow became her catchphrase though.
• Chair used to name all computers as “AYA”. Other computers or smaller devices get named “MAYA”. This stands for Mini Annoying Young Android. The naming convention stopped after receiving too many computers to use for events, and there needed to be an easier to distinguish between each one.
Developer’s Voice
“I can talk for years about Aya. Like, I really just wanted ONE Twitch bot rather than having two to serve my needs. It all began as a utility bot but I really just can’t stop adding features. I basically treat this thing like my child. And the way people cheer for my bot makes me want to go even further. I understand that this bot is extremely buggy and the bots I used before are far more superior but I really like Aya for some reason. She has a personality. I basically revived her from my short story series because I really thought her concept was adorable. I also don’t have any siblings and I’ve often been wondering how it would be like if I did have one. Sometimes, I wish Aya was real. Heck, I even built a computer with the sole purpose of running this bot.”
– Chair, 2016
S-A.Y.A+
In order to run Aya 24/7 on the Twitch channel, there must be something running her consistently. SAYA, which stands for Subpar Annoying Young Android, is a computer that runs Aya on the channel whenever the main streaming computer is not running Aya. This is especially useful whenever running tournaments as the main streaming computer would not have to use additional resources for running the bot while streaming at a higher quality. This also solves complications where a venue would block communications with the bot running on the main streaming computer. The only features not available would be the waitlist. Any points accumulated while running SAYA would have to be transferred manually to the main computer. The reason why it has the word Subpar in the name is because this Windows XP computer bought for $20 is extremely old and slow before it received its upgrades. After about 4 months since AYAimouto version 1.3, Chair decided to give a small upgrade by getting more RAM and a cheap graphics card, since it cannot watch Twitch videos and takes almost a minute to open anything. It turns out that this computer’s components are so old that the parts didn’t fix. It was decided that it would be cheaply wiser to give a full upgrade, which means SAYA would technically be rebuilt. The budget upgrades were rather cheap, which was under $200. While Chair lived in student housing, SAYA resided next to the UMI (Ubuntu Machine Idk) and BROCKS (Broken Rapper On Computer Krap Server) computers and is the strongest among the group of recycled old computers.

Rules
Make AYAimouto a mod in your channel
DO NOT ABUSE HER. Fun spam is okay but if you intend to make her spam every second, that ain’t good at all. If you don’t have Aya modded, there’s a chance that her channel will get banned. If she gets banned, I will GRRRR.
Report any bugs. She’s only intended to be for Chair’s personal use and there are features we need to implement in order for her to run correctly in multiple channels. If she acts weird in any way, tell us on the Guestbook.
