Development History
A radio station show called Pop Culture Kaboom interviewed a film maker and upon finding out that their film is about arcade games, they suggested to ask Chair to turn the in-universe game into a real game. Chair later was casted as an extra and decided to fulfill the creation of the game. The director wanted a mobile game on the Apple App Store, but Chair was not ready to pay for fees to keep the app available on the App Store. So Chair offered to instead create a game that's playable on the browser with mobile controls to avoid the fees, while still making it available for LAME Dimension's core player base on the PC.

Trivia
• The power ups were not originally part of the game's design, as it's intended to be a clone of Gauntlet on the arcade. But when Chair found out the gameplay felt slow, Chair threw in a lot of chaos.
• This is the first Game Maker project LAME Dimension has made that has an online leaderboard.
• After this game was released, it led to multiple other projects having a browser playable build, as Chair became more familiar with how to make them work more properly.
• It was highest priority to make sure the game works on iPhones, as that's what the film director has. However, sound wouldn't play when the game launches due to browser policies. Chair added an audio player at the top to force the browser to play sounds. This became the standard for later browser builds so that the other games can be played on mobile.

"Maybe one day, I will actually properly release something on the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store. I mean I made a mobile game before but these marketplaces kinda scare me a little with how they require you to keep your games updated otherwise you'll get delisted." - ChairGTables, 2026
