Development History
Final Flames was going through a transition from a game based on Four Swords into a Beat 'Em Up after Chair and Mr. Prez played a couple of Beat 'Em Up games. Chair decided to create this test project as a template to use for Final Flames.
Programming
Trivia
• An expansion kit was made by Mr. Prez called Final Flames OW to better understand the engine. OW is supposed to stand for, On Work, but it's really just every sound replaced with the Game Maker sound with a man saying "ow".
• This engine was used for the development of Final Flames: Dark Rage. For Final Flames 2, many changes were implemented in this engine to make massive combos and enhanced movement possible.
• Mr. Prez dislikes the test game because of the annoying voice clips every time you punch and get hurt.

I think if I maintained the fast-paced action in this test for Final Flames 1, it would have been a funner game. Heck, I still play this test game from time to time. I actually like the fast-paced action here, which is more present in the second game.
