Development History
In 2017, ChairGTables attended a class called CS 328 Fundamentals of Game Design. One of the assignments was to create a catapult attack game similar to Angry Birds. Chair did not like the idea of making a casual game, so she instead made a boss rush game with Angry Birds physics. Chair named the game Misderekshawn after the playable character Derek, from Final Flames 2, and the final boss Sensei Shawn, which is a pun on sensation. The title is also a pun on Misdirection. Chair used this project to reuse Derek into having his own game as well as introducing a new character that Chair always wanted to create, which is a girl named Gogogogogogogogogogogogo. This is a reference to a name glitch often seen on Secret of Mana speedruns. As always, Chair wants to tie in some back stories to characters that may appear in Wave Shine! Chair then seduced Chake to draw the second boss. Chair also took one of Danicky's school projects and turned it into the final boss's design. These characters eventually get their stories expanded even further in Hazuki Dies.

Trivia
• Chair is usually the only person in his class that puts sounds into his games, so every time the first boss dies and screams, everyone in the classroom looks over their shoulder.
"I always said I was gonna finish this game outside class despite already getting a good grade, because I never finished it on time. But even until now, I never finished this game. And now I'm actually expanding their stories in a different game. Seems like it worked out in the end!" - ChairGTables, 2026
